Creative Writing Project in Blackpool
Here is a great opportunity to work with writers Eleanor Rees and Zoe Lambert and get your work published.
The creative writing project uses Blackpool’s built heritage as the inspiration for new writing. Locations include – the Grundy Art Gallery, the Grand Theatre, the Central Library and Layton Cemetery – the idea is to experience these historic spaces, collectively and develop your own personal response. Zoe and Eleanor will be on hand to help, guide and advise. A publication of the finished work will be produced.
Dates
The project will run from Wednesday 2nd May until Friday 1st June with a special launch event at 5.30pm on 10th July. Please note participants will be expected to attend the majority of the sessions.

Friday 6pm-8pm 1st June Central Library Final editing session
Tuesday 5.30pm–6.30pm 10th July Central Library Launch & Celebration Event

It is FREE OF CHARGE to all participants but places are strictly limited to 12 and can be booked on a first come first served basis by emailing kerry.hunt@blackpool.gov.uk.
