Flying Solo

A feast of new perfomance awaits at Moor Park Library on Thursday 15th November from 6pm-7.3o.

There will be performances of original monologues from award winning local writers David Riley, Ian Simpson, Jennifer Smethurst and Ruth White. The monologues are set in many diverse settings from the bus to the Spanish Civil war. Norman Hadley will perform his piece for the very first time in Blackpool.

Preston based performance poet Rachel McGladdery will also be appearing. Rachel won the John Lennon award for performance poetry in 2010. Vicky Ellis, winner of the spoken word category at the Buxton Fringe Festival this year is appearing too. Her new work Unconventional Attitudes is enjoying much acclaim.
